Privacy notice

Kindred operates this site for families interested in our centre at 79 Quay Street, Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This notice explains what we collect here and what we do with it.

What we collect

Only what you type into the waitlist form: your name, your email address, your child's age at start, and your preferred start date. We do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, address, or any health or identifying information through this site.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to place your family on the waitlist in the order received, and to let you know when rates are published and enrolment opens. Nothing else.

Who sees it

Our staff, and the email provider that carries the message. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to any list you did not ask to join.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist for your child's year group has closed and you have not enrolled. Write to hello@kindredbk.nyc at any time and we will delete your details.

Your choices

You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will act within thirty days.

Cookies and storage

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It stores one item in your browser to remember that you have dismissed the privacy notice, so it does not reappear on every visit. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings. Our website host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security purposes.

Children

This site is intended for parents and carers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Terms of use

About this site

The information here describes a centre that is under construction and scheduled to open in March 2027. Opening dates, hours, room groupings, schedules, rates and services are subject to change, and nothing on this site is a contract or a guarantee of a place.

Images

The interior images on this site are design renderings, not photographs of a finished space. The completed centre may differ.

Waitlist

Joining the waitlist places your family in the queue in the order received, for the room matching your child's age at your preferred start date. It does not reserve a place, does not create an obligation on either side, and does not require payment. Places are confirmed only when enrolment paperwork is signed and any deposit is paid.

Licensing

The centre will operate under a permit issued by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. We are not yet licensed and are not yet operating. We do not accept children before the permit is issued.

Content and links

The text, images, logo and name on this site belong to Kindred or are used with permission. Links to other sites, including mapping services, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Limits

We keep this site accurate but make no warranty that it is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Accessibility

We want every family to be able to use this site and to visit our centre.

This site is built to be readable with a screen reader, navigable by keyboard, and legible at high zoom. Images carry text descriptions, colour is not used as the only way to convey information, and animation is reduced automatically if your device asks for that.

For accessibility of the building itself, including entry, changing facilities and accommodation for a child with a disability, please get in touch before your visit so we can talk it through properly.
