In the building

What the space is built with.

Designed from scratch as a children's centre across two floors, not fitted into a space meant for something else.

Ten classrooms
Across two floors, from 337 to 687 square feet. Rooms stay small; the building carries the numbers.
A separate infant floor area
Nearly 1,400 square feet given over to infants alone, with its own changing and feeding counters.
Ceilings over 12 feet
On the first floor, with wood baffle ceilings through the halls to take the edge off the noise.
A tree in every classroom
A custom tree-shaped shelf, built in. The same tree two children sit under in our mark.
Bathrooms inside the rooms
Child-height toilets off the classrooms themselves, so nobody walks a two-year-old down a corridor.
Five classroom kitchenettes
Meals arrive daily from our food provider and are plated on the floor the children are on. Nut-free throughout.
Planting through the halls
Built-in planters and greenery along the ceiling runs, specified in the drawings rather than added later.
Terrazzo and wood floors
Warm wood-look vinyl in the rooms, terrazzo through the circulation, in a palette matched to the brand.

3–12 months

The Nest

Floor time, feeding on your child's own schedule, and a calm room built around sleep and comfort.

1–2 years

The Grove

Walking, climbing, first words. Sensory play, music, and a great deal of water on the floor.

2–3 years

The Meadow

Pretend play, early friendships, and the beginnings of sharing a space with other people.

3 years – pre-K

The Workshop

Projects that run for weeks. Letters, numbers and clay, in whatever order the class takes them.

Licensing

Every Kindred centre operates under a New York State OCFS permit. Each site's permit and inspection history is posted at reception and available on request.

Food

Meals are delivered daily by our food provider and prepped on site. Our buildings are nut-free and we accommodate allergies and dietary requirements.

Enrolment

Rolling admissions with a waitlist by room at each location. Tuition is billed monthly; a deposit holds your place from your chosen start date.

We open in March 2027. Families on the waitlist are placed first, hear rates before anyone else, and are invited to walk the space once it is safe to do so.
